Survey Results for the New JFT Prometric Exam Center Officially Submitted to Prometric & The Japan Foundation!

In light of the upcoming expansion to establish a new JFT (Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese) Prometric examination center in Sri Lanka by January 2027, Viron Japan Academy recently conducted a public survey to gather candidate preferences.
 

To complement the existing center in the Colombo District, we sought input from candidates island-wide to determine the most accessible locations for a secondary test center.

Survey Outcome & Top Recommended Locations

Following an extensive data gathering process conducted through the Viron Japan Academy Facebook Page and various affiliated Japanese Language and Visa information FB Groups, candidate responses were analyzed. Based on public feedback, three primary locations emerged with the highest demand:

1. Kurunegala
2. Kandy
3. Badulla

These survey findings have now been officially compiled and submitted to both The Japan Foundation (JFT) and Prometric authorities for evaluation.
